Radio Training
If you’re thinking about a career in radio, this six month course provides the skills you need. One-on-one training devoted exclusively to production and on-air performance in a class of only 5 students, each with their own studio
You’ll train in the most up-to-date studios on state of the art, fully digital equipment. In the end, you’ll have a demo CD to showcase your talents and help you win your first job as an on-air personality! To maximize your opportunities your demo is posted on the school’s web site, You Tube, and Facebook.
This program is devoted to hands-on studio activities. Students simulate radio broadcasts with the help of professionals from local stations. They coach you in producing radio commercials, music and talk shows, writing and preparing news and sportscasts.
You’ll learn the techniques of broadcast journalism that will enable you to interview, write and compile news, sportscasts, and entertainment reports.
The success rate at THE MONTREAL RADIO AND TELEVISION SCHOOL speaks for itself. Many of our graduates work in radio today hosting talk shows, sports and news casts, play by play, traffic reports, broadcast journalists, live reports from the scene, music announcers and producers. You can too!
